So what do ten thousand website hits actually look like?
I’m still amazed from every view I’ve had on this site. I don’t understand it, but I’m amazed. Somehow, Lauren See Writes has reached ten thousand views. Ten. Thousand. I know.
To celebrate this milestone, I thought I’d share some stats. This may or may not be interesting to you, but I’m intrigued by analytics. So here we go!
In general, my VIPKID posts receive the most traffic with several hits a day. This does make sense to me, because I also researched the hell out of VIPKID before I applied. Despite being the most popular, there is little to no audience reaction. I get that too. How often do you actually stop to comment on a random blog post, you know? It’s fine.
*Now, I’ve been trying to figure this out for months…why is my Wicked Game post getting so much traffic? This baffles me. It’s just so random. Any insights? Please let me know! Otherwise, it’s all VIPKID up there.
My writing posts get a tiny bit of traffic on the day they’re posted, and they have the most likes of anything I post. I can live with that. Writing is why I started this site in the first place, so.
My music posts? Ha! No one cares, which I find hysterical, considering they’re my favorite AND they take the longest to make. Many of them have never even been viewed! Like, ever. But I keep cranking them out! They make me happy. What can I say?
Posts about Mocha are somewhere in between.

And there you have it. That’s what 10k looks like. I started this blog to document my writing journey. It has since become a place for spilling out my thoughts and interests with anyone who cares to read them. If you’re responsible for a view or two of these 10k, I thank you. Here’s to 20k!
